I have nothing to compare them with but they work and sound good.
My first P90 pickup... sounds clear, full, round, smooth and warm. Perfect for what I wanted (used in an old fender squier tele body). Similar to a strat neck pickup, but bigger sound. Reminds me of a large body acoustic with warm strings when playing it clean. Doesn't have that much power to it for distortion, but I also have it fair distance from the strings for a nice clean sound... glad I eventually got one!
Did not get the mounting screws as mentioned in the description.
The guys at Blackbeard are friendly but emails don't get answered fast enough, Also i never received mounting screws with the pick ups, I queried this but am still waiting for a reply. The description of the product on the website mentions the mounting screws and adjustment of pup heights, so I was expecting these screws.
